ATTOCK, Dec 15: The tehsil municipal administration (TMA) Attock has launched a campaign to clean the city areas and adjacent localities.

On the directive of District Coordination Officer (DCO) Usman Ahmed Chaudhry, sanitary teams have started cleaning drainages and lifting garbage dumps from different streets and roads.

After completing the cleanliness drive, teams will be sent to populated areas for fumigation.

It may be noted that the TMA also recently planted flowers and other plants along Attock-Kamra road to beautify the highway.

Tehsil Municipal Officer Sardar Aftab has urged the residents to drop their garbage and other waste on the dustbins and collection points of the TMA for its proper disposal. He also asked the residents to cooperate with the TMA teams in the ongoing drive.

Meanwhile, the DCO has also instructed municipal administrations of other tehsils to launch similar campaigns to keep their areas neat and clean.—Correspondent
