If only your country had a proper computerized system of registering vehicles including it’s chassis and engine numbers, it would be no trouble for the authorities to trace the owners or the cars history of owners.Chassis numbers of cars are placed at different parts of the car.Some known only to the manufactures. So they are not easy to remove or deface.
