Hi everyone as an investor from the united kingdom following the progress of Oracle Coalfields Plc over 6 years now. I must say the people in power in Pakistan including the government have seriously let down investment into the country by their lack of incompetence and shear greed as per usual. The vibe here is "Oh its Pakistan, don't bother even if its 500% R.O.I" Do the people of Pakistan some justice and invest into ORCP a British firm led by a Pakistani entrepeneur who is trying to make a change for the lives of 20mil+ pakistani's in Pakistan to provide energy which is much needed. Whats up with Pakistan governerment/President/the rich at all levels its become a joke. Get the oil mafia to invest in coal aswell if that whats its going to take. I mean come on your letting down a country, its people, and foreign investment, why? World wide poor reputation Pakistan has got, for once make this a success rich people who call the shots!

Now, at least, Thar coal gasification project is in safe hands it's a pity that in our existing political system, the minister heading a certain sector doesn't even know the iota of working of that sector. Doctor Tahir-ul-Qadri is coming to deliver a speech at Minar-i-Pakistan, Lahore on 23rd Dec. He'll talk about changing the existing polluted political system in the country. If we don't change it, the same faces would be waiting for us in the assemblies to further plunder this nation. It's a treat to listen to him!

To reap benefits tomorrow, one needs to invest in that direction today. As a nation, we are unable to plan for our future beyond individual gain. Why is energy efficiency not our # 1 priority specially with all the shortfall over the past decade?

Funding, for country which wastes Rs 3 to 10 billion ( depending on the figures you want to use) a day, is not a real problem. The real problem lies in the vested interests and priorities. God help us all if we keep treading the path we are following now. People must vote and vote for the right people, independent of their past political biases. This is the only way this country can have a hope of revival.
