When I read stories like this I get a “smirk” on my face. When you live in SE Asia (I’m in Philippines) all you have to do is drive down the road to know how bad this problem is. We, supposedly, have emissions testing for motor vehicles yet most of the diesel powered vehicles still belch smoke into the air. It costs PhP 700 to get injector nozzles rebuilt but that seems to be a very low priority for most Filipinos.
