PESHAWAR, Dec 19: A picture on Dawn’s front page on Wednesday mistakenly identified main gate of the Army Engineering College in Risalpur as that of the PAF Academy. The accompanying report carried the same mistake.
The suspected militants had lobbed hand grenades at candidates gathered for recruitment outside the engineering college, wounding 18 people.
The PAF Academy is situated on the same premises, but deep inside it. As such it did not come under attack.
The error is regretted.
