Excellent biography you have penned Sir ! A World without Artists (Poets, writers, musicians, dancers, painters etc) would be hellishly monochromatic. Every country needs such people as cultural Ambassadors to bridge the gaps between different people and cultures. To appreciate Art you need not be from any particular region, culture, religion or ethnicity. Wonderful way of building bonds between people and reducing strife and friction in society.

It is indeed a great loss for all, irrespective. I had the pleasure to listen to the great maestro individually as well as with his talented and illustrious daughter Anoushka at various venues in the US. It is something I will cherish for the rest of my days. Such energy such magical transformation, unbelievable musical adventure, a’ou-trance.
