Foreign elements spreading terror in Pakistan: Malik

KARACHI: Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that all political parties should join hands against terrorism, keeping their various affiliations aside, and fight against this menace, DawnNews reported on Sunday.
Malik said that Pakistan’s situation today is worse than what it was facing in 1969 and 1971.
After attending the funeral of ANP’s Bashir Ahmed Bilour, Malik spoke to the media in Islamabad and paid tribute to the slain minister who was killed in an attack on Saturday.
The Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) took responsibility for the attack.
Malik said that Bilour was a courageous man and praised the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as well as the members of ANP for the sacrifices they had made for the country.
The interior minister blamed foreign hands for spreading terrorism in Pakistan and accused some “black sheep” within the country of helping them.
He also stated that Ehsanullah Ehsan is working for foreign elements and promoting an anti-state agenda.
Malik said that these findings would soon be shared with the media as well.
Sick and tired of listening to this ‘foreign element’ or ‘hidden hand’ out to destroy Pakistan. I think Pakistanis are doing a wonderful job of destroying their country themselves. Question is what are these incompetent ministers doing about these elements? Stop coming up with pathetic excuses.
Mr. Malik, will you inform the public what “foreign” country does the TTP belongs to?. All terrorism is Pakistan’s ingrown. No foreign country is interested in spreading any thing in Pakistan. When we are doing our best to destroy the country why should any one else take the trouble?
You are 100 % right no foreign country is fool to take trouble when we are doing a better job in destruction of our own country, specially the Pakistan Government.

How many times Rehman Malik has said that foreign elements are involved in gruesome killings in Pakistan? Nation has lost the count. Nothing will be done to bring the culprits to justice. Inefficient and corrupt people can deliver nothing for their country.Keep on suffering the torture Pakistan.
Rehman Malik you are a Failure. Leave your job and give it to someone more capable. Someone who is directly elected. Senate and Members on reserve seats should not be in important positions.

Well ,I have heard Mr. Rehman Malik on number of occasions pointing all the terrorism issues of Pakistan to foreign elements . I hope one day he can share little bit information with outside world about the proofs he got ?
As an Indian I would like to ask Indian Government why and if Indian Government is involved in any of these attacks, but where is the evidence ? and If he is not pointing finger to India, then Pakistan is in deep trouble…….

If you knew foriegn elements are involved then why Goverment of Pakistan is not recording thier protest with those countries involved in distablizing Pakistan!

When a politician shows more than necessary emotional response, that means he himself is involved in the crime. For Rehman Malik, it looks like this is the case.

In my opinion both print & electronic Media in Pakistan should immediately stop publishing claims by Terrorists after each attack. It is high time that the Media should maintain a complete “blackout” on such claims & discourage their criminal acts by restricting these anti State forces to reach out the World. Secondly,the remains of terrorists killed during such heinous anti Pakistan activities should be cremated publicly and pictures of such cremations should be extensively shown preferably with names of those suicide attackers, this new practice will definitely help in eliminating the evil.
If possible a law may be passed by our Parliament to this effect.

I totally agree with you. Time and again Malik has made this statement regarding foreign involvement but has as yet to show proof.How long is he going to fool the people with his statements?He should either put up or admit government failure to curb this menace.
Every thing that Pakistan government fails to do is automatically blamed on foreign elements. Is it not the responsibility of Pakistan government to do something about the “foreign elements?” Pakistan, unfortunately, has been, and is in bad hands.
Malik needs to go. Not sure why he is still running this office when he has no clue about his role and responsibilities as Interior Minister.
Rehman Malik is a loose canon. Not sure how he is being tolerated. In India, we couldn’t bear him hardly 2 days.
