I don’t believe there is anything in Islam like fatwa. The so-called Ulema are found of power over other people, and are trying to run a parralel government.

Woe betide a nation that clings it’s self to old set ideas without looking to the future.Pakistan is one such nation. Struggling to get into the modern age but held back by those who refuse to walk along using religion or self proclaimed ideas as an excuse.What a pity.

Those are not the Ulemas claiming themselves as Sunni Hanafi but their attitude differ from the doctrine of Abu Hanifa.. Further the vaccine should be tested by Pakistani experts enable to assure people for having vaccination to their children, anti polio vaccination is a must for Pakistani children.

These named religious leaders must condemn recent murders of the anti-polio women workers. CIA agents, in the garb of volunteers, are a different category and must be brought before the properly constituted court of law.
