MIRPURKHAS Dec 25: A man was killed and 10 others were injured in an armed clash between two groups of people over the issue of an approach way to the Noor Mohammad Marri village near Nasir Morr in Kot Ghulam Mohammad taluka on Tuesday.

The two groups first engaged in heated arguments before some of them brandished axes and automatic weapons triggering a fierce exchange of firing.

Gul Hassan, 25, son of Noor Mohammad Marri, sustained serious bullet wounds and was rushed to the Kot Ghulam Mohammad Taluka Hospital but he died on the way. Some of the 10 other wounded persons from both sides were taken to the taluka hospital and the Mirpurkhas Civil Hospital where they were under treatment till late in the evening.—BoC
