There is a trend, when local governments are unable to support their worship areas, they tend to give away responsibility to a viable alternative activity. In modern times economy, budget and finance has an important role to play. To save their jobs they have to harness spending. In new ever changing cultures, its the religion which is considered a burden first.
There are Churches which have been converted to Mosques. This shows tolerance and acceptance to change.

This happens when religion takes its true place that is in the heart and deeds of people rather that than spreading hatred and forced conversions.
