Last ditch effort. It is just a matter of time that Assad falls. With such meagre gains on his side, To save further loss of life, Assad should start negotiating with the Free Syrian Army and relinquish his power to them with assurances of the safety of all minority groups in Syria. But then again, does Assad even care about the lives of all of his citizens or just the minority groups?
