I think he was a proud man with a big heart. His commentary style was flamboyant and unconventional. He would always praise a player when credit is due, regardless of his nationality. He had special love for Srilankan cricket. Respect, respect, respect. Rest in peace brother Greig.

He was England captain and player, born in South Africa but spent his post-retirement life in Australia. Hence, your comment is incorrect.
