A FEW days ago an advertisement appeared in the press in which the Wafaqi Mohtasib Secretariat in Islamabad invited applications from suitable candidates for various posts.

To get more details, candidates were advised to visit the website of the secretariat.

I have been struggling hard to access website http://www.mohtasib.gov.pk but have been unable so far. The website has not been accessible from the day the advertisement was published.

I am afraid that there is something fishy.

The last date for the receipt of the application is Dec 29. The Federal Ombudsman has been recently appointed after many years but things are as usual in this office.

I would like to request the departments/officials concerned to investigate why the website is not accessible since the publication of the advertisement.
