My New Year

resolution
When I woke up from sleep,
And moved towards the window to take breathe,
I thought of New Year’s resolutions,
Wondering what is the best solution?
Do I want to be fit,
Or to be an intelligent student,
Or a young poet?

Thinking about it a lot,
The answer came to me
As soon as I heard the Azan,
I will be a good Muslim,
A good Muslim is a helpful civilian,
A good Muslim is a good student,
I will offer prayers,
And recite the Holy Quran,
And pray to Almighty Allah
To make me a good Muslim.

Winter holidays

Winter holidays have arrived soon,
I am glowing like a full moon.

It’s time to have fun,
We all friends will eat fruit bun.

I love to sing songs,
I wish the winter holidays to be long.

May be we go out of station,
Otherwise my brother will play
All the time with his play station!

We will play indoor games,
As we expect to have heavy rains.

Winter holidays are very short,
But still I am planning
To enjoy a lot!

Where have you been the witches’ queen?

In the scary night,
With no bright light,
When it is creepy and dark,
I’ve been finding you everywhere.

Look at these scary bats,
How frightening they look
When they wear their unusual hats!

I was waiting to see
The Halloween night’s moon;
But I couldn’t see it,
Since it was afternoon!
