TAXILA, Dec 31: A couple died of gas suffocation in Losar Sharfoo area in the limits of Wah Saddar Police Station on Monday.
According to police sources, Chudhary Shahzad and his wife left gas heater on and slept in their room.
Some time at night, the heater went off due to low gas pressure, but when the pressure improved the heater started emitting gas which filled the room.
Their bodies were taken to the hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to their heirs.
