Accusations and conspiracy theories are a convenient escape. Have you ever questioned your own leaders why there have been no water conservation measures like lining canals ever taken? Why no electricity is available to pump water? Why no new dams have come up since independence to store water? Of course, India's water treaty step back can always be challenged in world court. Has it been done?

Author has obviously not done his homework! If India builds dams it affects Pakistan and if Pakistan builds dam in the Punjab and its North, it does not affect the flow of water to Sindh? Logic? Ask Sindhis!
Some of the dams built by India are not even on the rivers mentioned by the author and almost all of them are within the Treaty. Pakistan has the right to appeal and has appealed to appropriate authorities
The problem is also partly due to climate change resulting in decreased water flows and increase in population. Even China is encountering water problems and building dams to divert water going to India, Bangladesh and other Southeast Asian countries.

My dear Pakistani Brothers, you could have simply put those terrorists behind bars who are responsible for 26/11. Remember, Kandhar hijacking, then you were happy and enjoying every moment of Indians pain. Again remind you Kargil. All these are result of those acts. You are the one who always closed the door for friendshio and negotiation. You must understand India is a vast country. Indians are ofcourse poor (40%) but not Indian Government. India had given credit to IMF. In the year 2002, India had released its hypothecated 200mt. gold to Britan in 1991. India has changed tremendously since 1991.

Making hydro-electric dams is not diverting water. These dams could be beneficial to Pakistan for flood control and even water use; but Pakistan chooses to raise knee-jerk objection for anything that benefits (Hindu majority) India.
Another misguided Pakistani. Do you think is it possible for India to divert the legitimate share of Bangladesh's or Pakistan's water and get away with that ? Dams are constructed not just for storing water but for generating electricity as well.

Yes, the advantages being undertaken by Indian authorities to control the free waters of three western rivers flowing into Pakistan under Indus Basin Treaty would have serious implications for Pakistan agriculture sector. India, being upper riparian state would never pay due heed to Pakistan's reservations thus trying hard to bring it to a barren land. However, instead of repenting before international assistance providers or seeking Indian sympathy to take us on board for any such project which could affect water sharing demands of Pakistan, we must stop fighting for consensus over construction of new dams, specially Kalabagh. The vast potential of our proposed sights could effectively take us out of the water shortage or crunch of any such dilemma.Since it is the dawn of new year so lets forget our individual differences or so called party interests in order to save Pakistan agriculture, otherwise our future generations will never forgive us for the blunders we are carrying along through decades.
