KARACHI: Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House on Tuesday and discussed the political situation in the country during the meeting.

Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was also present during the meeting. The law and order situation was discussed at the meeting.

Sources said that the president and prime minister also discussed Tahirul Qadri's planned long march along with the MQM gathering held in Karachi today.

The prime minister also briefed the president about energy situation in the country and various measures being taken to overcome the energy shortages.
