I will suggest we provide some detail in this article for laymen, since is very high level and we do understand compromises governments have to make.
Will be helpful if author could give some suggestions as well about how to implement such check in Pakistani system since that is idea behind putting this article.

The article raises very important point regarding the forever suspicious level protection to the local automobile industry. The outcome of protectionist policy results in technical, cost reduction and marketing champion of the protected industry and none of this is ever achieved by any local industry. They are not even close!
