I disagree. There is nothing wrong with ability or talent, it is just a matter of application and commitment. Before Pakistan, Indian batsmen made heroes out of Monty and Swan. Pakistan cricket team was on a mission for sake of their country and cricket, while Indian team was jaded, confused and dispirited.

Other than the leadership issue this Pakistan cricket team is far superior in all departments of the game, particularly bowling, and this despite being deprived of international cricket at home for the last 4 years or so and the frequent turmoils within the PCB, which does not make good press. So it is definitely not solely a leadership issue on the cricketing front but of all round talent and ability which our neighbors seem to possess in abundance and in Misbah and Hafeez they have two very cool captains, just like Dhoni of yore though the Indian captain is not as fortunate to have the same abundance of talent on the bowling front, if so, this series would have been more interesting to watch from a purely cricketing perspective.

yes, the Indian team have received a whipping, and may need a lot more than a new team….they need to figure out what should an Indian batsman do when faced with quality seamers !
