Port should be completed asap. The CJ should leave the executive on his feet so that they would be able to develop the country and leave corruption from the institutions.

Pakistan did have an strategic location advantage. The advantage is vanishing because of Pakistan’s own deeds. China has created several alternative routes to central Asia in the North. India, Iran, Russia and Central Asian states are creating alternative route bypassing Pakistan. The world is not going to wait for Pakistan to put it’s house in order. Neither China, nor India nor world is dependent on Pakistan’s transit routes. Gwadar port “could have been” the Panama of Asia but then history is full of strategic mistakes.

my understanding is Gwadar is awaiting the results of the feasibility study in to the China – Pakistan railway project. Once this line comes on line, Gwadar will become very active due to Chinese trade passing through Pakistan. President Zardari has been to China recently talking about this if I remember correctly.

the port is suffering bec no one is intrested in using it

singapore dubai ect were intrested but realised the port area did not belong to pakistn but to baluchistan, and the balouch will not let caego pass unhindred thru balouch land

so fitsy have a peaceful accord with balouch people aand then start the operation
