A long march to the fina-fil Interim Government

Sheikh ul-Islam was the highest title bestowed by the great Ottoman Sultans on the selected Qadhi from different cities. Sheikh ul-Islam had the power to confirm new Sultans and their fatwas were binding on the community. If Sheikh ul-Islam’s rulings were followed in the mightiest Ottoman sultanate, who are we, Al-Bakistanis to reject the ruling of the Sheikh ul-Islam.

For me, he is not only Sheikh ul-Islam but Kamil Sheikh who has packed knowledge and experience of the spiritual ailments (amradh-e-batinah) of our country. This mard-e-kamil strives to achieve oneness with the supreme power, like a drop of water that runs into a river and then into the ocean (absolute unity). He has crossed all the four stages (stations) of Tassawuf, Shariat (jurisprudence), Tareeqat (method) Haqeeqat (reality) and Ma’rifat (disclosure, Inkishaf).
He started his journey of Sharia from the Ittefaq Masjid in Model Town, through the jurisprudence of Nawaz Sharif on PTV. He followed Sharia from the days of Zia ul Haq and was instrumental in imposing the Blasphemy law in Pakistan (Note: there are two versions, one for the consumption of Pakistan and the other for the Western hemisphere). For 30 long years he practiced Sharia and had finally found a way (tareeqat) to enter the parliament during the Musharraf regime to support the Legal Framework Order (LFO). After mastering the ascetic to control his nafs trance under the Maple tree (l’Unifolié) of Canada for six years, the final Haqiqat of election reforms dawned upon him and he arrived in Pakistan for the fina-fil Interim Government. Now, through the Ma’rifat of other stakeholders, he wants to purge Pakistan from corruption and pave the way for the Egyptian model.

He came to Pakistan with ex-pat Sadiqs and Amins from Europe, Canada and all over the globe to steer the scattered flock of sheep to Islamabad. He demands that the present government should consult all stakeholders or stick-holders or mallet-holders to form an Interim Government, as if these were not already present in the permanent set up. But I would also suggest that mic-holders, pen-holders, brush-holders (yours truly) and AK-47-holders of banned jihadi militias should also be included in the Interim set up. Shiekh ul-Islam offered himself for the post of Interim Prime Minister; I too would like to offer myself for the ministry of film, science and culture like reputed Sheikh Mamoon ur Rashid.
Sheikh ul-Islam together with the Pir of 90 Sharif wants to convert Islamabad into Tahrir Square. The pir’s spiritual powers were delimited and his mureedins registration made him see beyond the veil of the material world and into the stakeholders’ dreams of a prosperous and free from corruption Pakistan.

The long march in China was a retreat of the Red Army and it covered approximately 6000-8000 miles that took one year. Compared to the Chinese long march, this long march from Lahore (300 kilometers) to Islamabad is equal to Model Town parks’ jogging track. Sheikh ul-Islam, the Pir of 90 Sharif, and all the Sajjada nashins will start jogging from Lahore to Islamabad on GT road in Prados to convert Islamabad into Tahrir Square.

A corruption free Pakistan was the need of all the stakeholders of Pakistan when the Soviet forces were leaving Afghanistan and the corrupt and inefficient democratic government of Junejo were game with the Soviets and USA in Geneva. The spineless democratic government of Junejo allowed the retreat of Soviet forces from Afghanistan and was therefore, duly kicked out by General Zia ul Haq Ghaznavi. When our non-state actors were stranded in Kargil, we once again had a corrupt democratic government, that did not allow the honourable retreat of mujahideens from Kargil. In 2014, we will see the retreat of the American army from Afghanistan. This retreat of true democratic forces to Islamabad will usher a new (read old) chapter in Pakistan’s history.

Sometimes sir, u do get a little overboard in your sarcasm. Please keep a little what we call a “halka haath”, after a point its not funny anymore. Dragging the stages of tasuwwaf in your piece-even if he (wrongly, maybe) claims to have achieved-are a little bit too much. And btw, im not his fan !

I guess everyone knows that the situation in Pakistan is very very bad. Law and order situation, shortage of electricity & CNG, corruption, joblessness and terrorism all make the life in Pakistan full of tension. People of Pakistan are very unsatisfied with the government and they see no viable option even in the elections. All the parties and leaders have been tested and no change came.
It is surprising how the politicians and certain part of media is dead against Molana Tahir Ul Qadri. Are people worried that the status quo is in danger?

Amazing article, I wonder if Mr. Qadri is contemplating to start a movement to implement sharia law in Canada / UK (LOL)…… he is yet to explain who attempted to assassinate him, did he really saw prophet Mohammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam) in his dream and did he enacted the blasphemy law because apparently he denied in one of his TV interview of not being part of it
.It is a very poor representation of a courageous action taken by someone, for the general welfare of common people, as well as the country. The tragedy is that we have hardly 12 to 15 % literacy, out of which only 2 to 3 % have patriotic sensibility. People, like this writer or joker sahib, with slavish mentality is that they would appreciate Abraham Lincoln the famous street vagabond Jew or Lenin, the famous bank dacoit half Jew. But they would make fun of the one, who would have the courage to stand for general public welfare and betterment of the country. Since last five years, after the departure of Musharraf, the whole country is in the grip of a disastrous gang in the name of democracy and everyone seem to be sold out in the name “mafahemat”. According to Mazaq-e- Jamruriat (with the whole nation), other partner will take over the chair and Team-B will play opposition.

Very funny to read but you have conveyed the true meaning of the so called sheikh ul Islam and what he stood for all his life . Bravo , hope the message gets down to the masses well in time before they leave their homes to jog along the GT road from Minare Lahore to Thakhtay Islam (abad reluctantly I may add ! ) which is there eagerly awaiting to great the Sheikhul Dhanwan
