KARACHI, Jan 8: Four ships carrying coal and containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage of Karachi Port on Wednesday.

FPMC Venus, Baltic and Sheng Shi were berthed while Lantau Arrow, Lodestar Genesis, Mol Direction and Sheng Shi sailed out on Tuesday.

Total cargo handled amounted to 90,573 tons comprising 58,066 tons of import and 32,507 tons of export.

The following ships are expected to arrive on Tuesday: Santa Rafeala with containers, SPI Sara with coal, Al Messiah with cows and Baghdad with general cargo.

Port Qasim KARACHI, Jan 8: Four ships with containers, palm oil and furnace oil also arrived at the outer anchorage during last 24 hours, said a PQA release on Tuesday.

Nedlloyd Barentsz, Lana, Marine King, Meta, Dogan Bey, Al-Salam-II and Bunga Allium were busy in loading/offloading containers, cement, wheat and palm oil.

A cargo volume of 57,350 tons comprising 44,407 tons of import and 12,943 tons of export was handled.
