While there is still confusion over the route and permission for the long march, the local administration and Tehrik Minhajul Quran (TMQ) activists have already started preparing for the ‘big day’ i.e. January 14.

A senior officer of the Islamabad administration on condition of anonymity told Dawn that the direction of the government was awaited but the administration had started making preparations regarding the long march, to avoid any loophole that might prop up at the last minute.
