LAHORE, Jan 9: Capital City Police Officer Aslam Tareen has said the training course for retired army men inducted into the police department has been commenced.

After the training these police officials will be posted in different police station and places.

Inspecting training exercises at Qila Gujjar Singh Police Lines on Wednesday, he said the anti-riot course was being conducted to prepare the army men to meet any untoward incident and demonstrations despite the fact that they were well trained.

According to a press release, the CCPO said the army men would be deployed for the security of different places and to maintain the law and order situation in the city.

He said the induction of the army men into the police department would not only be helpful in decreasing the strength deficiency but would also deliver the desired results with further training.
