Zardari greets Obama

KARACHI, Jan 11: President Asif Ali Zardari has reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to having a long-lasting, broad-based, cooperative and mutually beneficial relationship with the United States.

In his message of felicitation to US President Barack H. Obama on assumption of the office for the second term, President Zardari said he looked forward to working with him for bringing the two countries closer and building a strong partnership for advancing shared goals and objectives for peace, security and prosperity of the people of the two countries. He invited the US president to visit Pakistan.—Staff Reporter
