KARACHI: The Shia Ulema Council (SUC) has called for a strike to be observed throughout Sindh on Monday, in response to the Quetta killings, DawnNews reported.

The SUC said that businesses and shops should be closed in the province in observance of the strike call.

Meanwhile the Private Schools Management Association (PSMA) has said private schools in Karachi will be shut on Monday.

The PSMA chairman Sharfuz Zaman said that protests are continuing in Karachi, which is why they have decided to shut private schools in the metropolis.
