Inquiry against Raisani govt urged

QUETTA, Jan 14: Balochistan PPP president Mir Sadiq Ali Umrani has called for an investigation into the alleged corruption committed by the Raisani government during the past four-and-a-half years.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, he said the people of Balochistan had welcomed the removal of the government and imposition of governor’s rule in the province.
Former senator Mian Saifullah Khan Peracha, former provincial minister Jan Ali Changezi, Javed Ahmed, Syed Iqbal Shah and other PPP leaders were present on the occasion.
Mr Umrani said the federal government had given billions of rupees to Balochistan for development but a big portion of funds was allegedly embezzled because of wrong policies of the Raisani government.
He said instead of using these funds for the betterment of people, the money was allegedly spent on purchasing big houses and flats abroad.
“Since I and Jan Ali Changezi were part of the ousted cabinet, we present ourselves for accountability,” Mr Umrani said.
He said a probe should be initiated against the former chief minister and his ministers for the alleged misuse of development funds.
The PPP leader said over 1,100 people of the Hazara community had been killed in blasts, suicide attacks and target killings and over 5,000 belonging to other communities also lost their lives over the past five years.
He said the federal government had no other option but to impose governor’s rule because the ousted government had failed to protect the life and property of people of Balochistan.
Raisani should do a good job , if somebody employs him in comedy circus. He is natural by the way.
If the Govt does not order the inquiry CJP should take suo motu notice of this allegation. Raisani bears a major responsibility to bring Balochistan where it is today.
These people do not deserve an inquiry they must be hanged, this also goes for Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.
Mr Umrani look into yourself as well.You are telling the people about the corruption of Raisani govt?ok the matter should be inquired,but what about your brother Abdul Sattar umrani who buried girls alive in your constituency.Should he not be brought for fair trial?Alas you are shameless in particular and all the politicians in general.

This is the wake up for every citizen of Pakistan.We as a citizen of Pakistan owe responsibility to cast vote for honest people and reject those causing loss to Govt
Unfortunately its our fault and weakness. In coming election elite politicians like him will win again because we are the ignorant nation who sells vote for pennies or personnel gains. At least he will win his seat for sure if he is not having any legal issues which stops him from contesting election.

All were part of government and inefficiency now they want present themselves because they want a clean chit before they contest next elections or be part of governor rule.

They should called Musharaf to rule the pakistan.
Democracy is for the west where the level of education, tolerance and morality is high. We are ignorant nation who needs constant guidance. We should be driven by dictator general like cattle by Sheppard.
I wouldn’t call them ignorant, they are more in need. A nation where people don’t have their basic needs, votes can be bought easily. Democracy in such a place will definitely fail.

Mr. Saqid umrani, if Raisani was corrupt, why didn’t you resigned from the ministry for four long years ?
All the assembly members and their party leaders must share the blame. These assembly members elected Raisani as the Chief Minister and they gave him the vote of confidence again a few days ago. These people who are now holding press conference against Raisani should be ashamed of being members of Raisani’s cabinet and supporting him in the assembly.
Not only these guys should be ashamed of it but also voters should note that these guys were selling irresponsibility to elect this guy. Most likely, they were looking forward to enjoy some money of corruption as a kick back to elect him. Again!!!!!!
