KARACHI: The Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) sent the main accused Shahrukh Jatoi, along with Siraj Talpur, Sajjad Talpur, and Ghulam Mustafa Lashari on seven day remand, in the Shahzeb Khan murder case, DawnNews reported.
The lawyer of the main accused appealed that Shahrukh is an adolescent, therefore he should not be tried in court.
To verify his age, the court directed that Shahrukh be sent to Service Hospital for a medical checkup.
Earlier today, Shahrukh Jatoi, was produced in the ATC complex on Thursday, January 17.
Shahrukh was earlier was shifted from Abu Dhabi to Karachi on Thursday morning.
Senior Superintendent of Sindh Police (SSP) Niaz Ahmed Khoso said he was designated the task of arresting Shahrukh, adding that he was unaware of any information concerning the arrest of former chief of Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) Tauqir Sadiq.
Shahrukh was brought to Karachi through an aircraft of a private airline which landed on Terminal 1 instead of Jinnah Terminal. Terminal 1 is usually used for Haj flights.

Sharukh had surrendered himself to authorities at the Pakistani consulate in Dubai who shifted him to Karachi as soon as a go-ahead was received from the Interpol, police officials said, adding that Jatoi’s physical remand would soon be obtained from court.
We request a one month trial by the courts and if found guilty then hang him within a week along with that cox-ide tal our. If its not done than the people should hang him
Along with going thru the medical tests to ascertain his age; the authorites should also ask the college for his admission documents, which will certainly have his date of birth. By the way, I heard that he also used to study in Greenwich University. I wonder if this is correct or not??
Still, lets make an example of this person and hang him publicly.
This guy should be shown NO mercy. The way he killed an innocent young boy, he should meet the same fate.
Nothing will happen. The lawyer will claim that he is not an adult and the maximum penalty for juvenile is three years. He will be out in a year and a half on good conduct, only if he gets the max. penalty. Hanged or life imprisonment….. Only dreams.
Nothing will come of this case…mark my words, as we speak there will be deals going on behind the scenes..sad sad day for Pakistan.
Everyone wants him hanged but no one knows what happened………. Justice should be served but through the due legal process.
An instructor in USA, kidnapped and assaulted a young boy. Police searched for them and found the boy, humiliated and broken. Instructor was caught and as authorities were bringing him from the aircraft handcuffed, in custody. The father of that boy, put a bullet in that psychos head. Police took control of the situation and brought the father to the court. Judge gave him some 9 months or so of community service and put him on probation for a year maybe.
Moral: if they cant get you justice, you can actually deliver justice, atleast that’s what we have seen in this California case.

They will settle the claim with shahzebs family and these killers will be free and will be living in our society and will be more clever than before.
I will see a change in judiciary if any of these three culprits are hanged withing a months time. Delay means giving time to threaten the victims family and push them to reach a settlement
He should be tried as an adult as its a serious crime. Our Law allows that.
A tiny step in the right direction. The politicial system and the courts will determine wether the victim and his family get any justice. Media should keep the spotlight.
People like him should be sent behind bars for life not for just 14 years, OR hanged OR victim’s family should be given a gun to shoot him.

He can’t be hanged since this wasn’t a murder in 1st degree. If he admits to it, he will claim this happened in heat of the moment. 14 years is what he is looking it. Which probably is good for him. Furthermore, I hope he doesn’t get “A” class in the jail …
