man please also don’t forget he has been leading bunch of new comers in Test or One day who didn’t had sufficient test or ODI experience behind them when he took up Captaincy of Pakistan.Cautious approach is always best when you have bunch of new comers playing together.

Does it take away credit from him for being 3rd most successful Captain in history of test cricket? Even his one day Successful rate is among the very best of Captain.Not sure whether you were talking about T20.
In his last 5 Test Match innings for Pakistan, he has notched up 458 runs at a very high batting average of 152.67 . In his last 5 ODIs as well, Misbah has made 190 Runs at an average of 63.33.If that is not good enough,I don’t think anybody is better than that whether in Pakistan or any other cricket playing nation.

Individual fine player doesn’t transform into result.You have new players like Azhar Ali,Asad Shafiq ,Misbah Haq who put the rear guard down and put price on their wicket,that has been reason for Pakistan consistent performance in Test.In past Pakistan had lot of individual stars but they didn’t combined well as team which could win most of Test matches.That is the difference in current squad where guys like to spend more time on wicket and then accumulate run as time passes on.This is where Indian team has been lacking,individual brilliance but very inconsistent performance and lesser said about test ,its better.Who won’t want 3rd best successful Captain like Misbah to lead the team.Dhoni performance was not upto mark in England cricket test series and immediately after Test series ,England has sent their senior guys have sent to rest to get ready for Ashes.So suddenly Indian team performance has gone up in last one day once the key players rotated in England team to provide them much needed rest.

Misbah deserves The Captain of the year award for his leadership and temperament. He is such a good player and he keeps the team under control. we shouldn’t talk about his age and retirement because it is his own decision. he is fit and has the ability to guide Pakistan to more victories. God bless Misbah and God Bless Team Pakistan.

Misbah is undoubtedly one of the greatest captains of Pakistan.

Very humble and thoughtful cricketer.

Great to see a miracle after likes of Imran and Wasim as captains

Historically we have continued to produced immature and emotional captains with few grey cells,some of them you still find in the T20 and one day team

He will always be remembered for his great batting feats

I agree that Misbah has done well for the team in comparison to failure captains such as Shoaib Malik and the cheat Salamn Butt. However, under no circumstances can you compare Misbah to the most successful captains such as the legendary Imran Khan and Inzamam Ul-Haq.
