Revolutions everywhere else in the world had brought equality,rule of law and democracy but funnily enough in muslim countries it gave inequality, inferior treatments to women and rule of law purely based on religion far cry from any logic. This movie is all about that.

I appreciate the general theme shown in the movie. That of being in no man’s land as you call it.
But it clearly lacks the factual accuracy about present day Iran or the one in 1979.
Recommended for fun but not for forming opinions about the country and its revolution.

I think it would be very accessible to someone who has very little knowledge of anything at all.

I am glad you reviewed this movie. I watched it 4 years ago and liked it very much. I think it has a lot of back-story which will make it accessible to someone who has very little knowledge of Iran.
