Lahore High Court deserves our thanks for reviving an issue which is for the betterment of the whole country. It is only our illiterate waderas turned politicians, who cannot see the advantages of Kalabagh Dam and are constantly mis-guiding the general public. Secondly these waderas don’t want general welfare of common people, because if common people start flourishing, the democracy of waderas will get endangered and may get derailed. Otherwise there seems no other reason to oppose construction of some thing which is benificial for the country and the people. CJ should order immediate action on LHC orders.

Kalabagh should not be built until there is a national consensus. if there is no consensus, parties in question should bear the brunt of the loadshedding. This is the only long term solution.

LHC would have done a better job if it kept quiet on a politically charged issue. I believe provincial top courts are not meant to speak for the interest of their province while ignoring overall national interest. I also believe someone has moved SC against LHC order.
