Just for record you cannot just get a Canadian citizenship for convenience of travel. He either qualified through their highly qualified system or claimed asylum on grounds of fear for his life due to his political affiliations or beliefs. If he was granted asylum and then citizenship then he is a liar, hypocrite and a fraud. He defrauded the Canadian system, took benefits and abused their hospitality and their citizenship for personal gain. If he did that then he is well suited for Pakistani politics which is full of cheats and corrupt people but if he didnt then he has nothing to answer for. Only Mr Qadri can tell you this, if he has nothing to hide then he should come out in the open and say so.

Educated? yes, popular? not so much. You have stated that he came to Pakistan with goals, can you please shed light on what goals he has achieved other then the long march? Did he get rid of corrupt leaders? No, he shook hands with them! All that has been said about the deal, would have happened anyway. Someone is his position can make a real difference if they are sincere but IMO from all that has happened, it seems he is only looking out for himself. We all (those living in Pakistan and Expats) want to see a positive change in Pakistan. Ask what you can do for Pakistan? VOTE Wisely! Make your VOTE count! by not letting the same corrupt leaders come back into power. In-sha Allah positive change will come!

This is what surprises and depressed me about our naive people. Mr Qadri was brought to stardom by Sharifs in the 1980′s. He went from strength to strength and then eventually ended up in Canada. Why would he come back so suddenly? How come he had so much marketing budget to organise a march against the govt at such a scale – the aim of which was the demand from a corrupt Govt to resign or else (I will go back to Canada). He then reaches a deal with this corrupt Govt with meeting the key objective of this march. What was the deal he made with the corrupt Govt? Why has he not disclosed this deal to his thousands of followers who tolerated rain and cold for many days while he was enjoying a bullet-proof, heated cabin and enjoying the finest cuisines. And now he is planning to go back to Canada. What are we to think of such a man – can someone out there please tell us?

I think Qadri is a front for the former president of Pakistan, and he is doing all this to facilitate his return to politics. Once he achieves his goal, he will return.

“The TMQ spokesman said that the TMQ chief did not obtain Canadian citizenship because of security concerns but to get a credible travel document for seeking visas of different countries.” Sounds like a citizenship of convenience and comfort, which many pakistanis are unable to afford. How can this man sleep at night, he is not even honest to himself.

NOW CAME THE NEWS THAT HE WAS GIVEN ASYLUM IN CANADA AND HE TOOK AN OATH , WHICH WAS AGAIN NOT A TRUE OATH. SO THE CANADIAN COURT ISSUED A SUMMON FOR HIM TO PRESENT HIMSELF ON 5TH FEBRUARY. WHAT KIND OF RELEGIOUS LEADER IS HE?
