SUKKUR, Jan 20: Nine children died of measles in Jacobabad, Ghotki and Kandhkot-Kashmore districts during the last 24 hours, reports received here on Sunday evening said.

The death of four-year-old Fida Hussain Bhatti and two-year-old Faiza Bhatti was reported from Baloch Colony; three-year-old Amna Lashari and two-year-old Ahmed Ali Lashari died in Darya Khan Lashari village; and two-year-old Naz Pari, daughter of Allah Dino Brohi, died in village Abdul Aziz Kharani in Jacobabad district.

In Ghotki district, two-year-old Ahmed Bukhsh, son of Khan Mohammad Kalwar, died in Umar Kalwar village and two-year-old Sundar, son of Manthar Leghari, died in Gulbahar Leghari village near Mirpur Mathelo town.

Four-year-old Jameel, son of Naseer Noonari succumbed to measles in Ali Baig Noonari village; and four-year-old Shahid Hussain, son of Saddam Essani, died in Jungo Essani village near Tangwani in Kandhkot-Kashmore district.
