LAHORE, Jan 21: Employees of the National Accountability Buearu, Punjab, held a demonstration outside their office building at Thokar Niaz Beg against the ‘mysterious’ death of their colleague, Kamran Faisal.

They also observed a full-day strike and demanded of the government to investigate and come up with ‘actual reasons’ behind his death. Faisal, an assistant director of NAB, was investigating the Rs22 billion rental power scam. He was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his official residence in Islamabad on Jan 18.

His family insisted that he was “murdered”.
