In the first place (at present) there are NO top level cricket playing countries who are allowing their players to take part in PSL. If you know of any name em please. They all say that players can go BUT on their own risk. PCB just banned our players from playing in Bangladesh league just because Bangladesh went back on their commitment. What I am trying to say is PSB should not go egoistic about all this. Saying that we will pay insurance of $2million per player, provide presidential level security. This doesnot attract any one. The shooters of Sri Lankan team are yet to be caught and given a trial despite they also being given top security.

It is therefore not an ideal time to hold such a global event especially as Pakistan wants to prove a point. PCB should not forget that, in its endeavour to prove the same point, Pakistan miserably failed last time in March 2009. Also learn from BCCI, who moved the second round of their event to South Africa, when it clashed with elections in India. Perhaps, it would be better if some rethinking regarding the event timing is made.
