ISLAMABAD: The Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI) and Balochistan National Party-Awami (BNP-A) staged a walk out from the Senate on Thursday against  the imposition of Governor's rule in Balochistan province, DawnNews reported.

The Senators, who had staged a walk out from the Senate session, demanded an end to the  Governor's rule in the province and the resumption of the elected government.

Senator Raza Rabbani belonging to the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) also staged a walk out from the Senate over the transfer of the officer investigating Karachi's  Baldia fire tragedy.

The Senate session was adjourned until 4 pm today.
