NOWSHERA, Jan 27: Two children were buried alive when the roof of a house collapsed in Khat Kalay area here on Sunday.

Police said that the dilapidated roof of the house caved in, burying Salam Riaz (4) and her brother Shehryar (2) alive.

The relatives and locals rushed to the house soon after the incident and started rescue operation.

Later, they pulled out the bodies of the two children from the rubble.

Meanwhile, a man was killed allegedly by his brothers over a marriage dispute at Risalpur on Sunday.

The victim, Imranullah had returned from Saudi Arabia for getting married but he developed differences with his brothers, which led to the killing.

The police registered case on the complaint of Rafiullah, father of Imranullah, saying he was shot dead by unidentified assailants when he was sleeping in the house.
