KARACHI, Jan 28: Aamir Abidi and Ashir Hussain made crucial contributions to inspire Faysal Bank into the semi finals of the fourth Agha Sports T20 cricket tournament with a 370run victory over Dubai Islamic Bank at the Aga Khan Gymkhana Ground here on Sunday.

Batting first, Faysal Bank made 165-7 in their 20 overs with Aamir striking 70 in a 57-ball innings which was laced with eight boundaries, while Ashir bludgeoned 48 off just 17 deliveries with the help of four sixes and three fours.

Usman Farhat took 3-44 with his off-spinners.

Dubai Islamic Bank, in their chase, were all out for 128 runs on the penultimate ball of the match with Usman Farhat hitting a 38-ball 45 (four fours and one six).

Off-spinners Adnan Tanoli and Ashir Hussain who was later named the Man-of-the-Match, shared the bowling honours with three wickets apiece, for eight and 30 runs, respectively.

The fourth quarter-final will be played between Bank Islami v Habib Bank Limited.
