What about taking an affidavit ffrom candidates that they meet conditions specified in the constitution relevant articles (probably 52 and 53) and if later, at any stage it gets datermined that they did not, they will get disqualified and will loose their seat? Verification of this affidavit calims can be conducted after the elections. This way election will not get delayed and wishes of the general population, specifically of the rally led by Dr. TUQ, will be met as well.

Good work ECP the implementation of article 62 & 63 with 218 must be applicable.

Hope and wish these rules are religiously followed by everyone.
Anyone found gilty, should be punished according to the law and get the real good punishment.

To conduct fair election, it is necessary to keep a check on candidates election expenses. Since the politics is like a growing business, everyone put the best effort with muscles and money. Although, we still have a herd mentality in Pakistan and in India, but the people are realizing their power of franchise. More reforms are needed to bring good and hones people in politics and the Election Commission should strive on for that goal.

These are again Golden Rules and tere are so many already on the book, it remains to be seen when these will be implemented in letter & spirit.
