ajit, you just contradicted yourself; you want people to think on the basis of rationality without an evidence? Maybe that post had no supporting evidence; not only me but in fact many people would like to know, if you can depict some concrete grounds the OSAMA did died in Pakistan? In this contemporary world, not even people in fact courts take decisions in empirical evidence.

I am astonished, the way you presented this biased comment. And just for your reference, language has no influence on your intelligence. In the era of stone age there was no English; but still they gave you basic tools ?

I can understand why they aren't showing it. The topic of the film is at least embarrassing for a lot of Pakistanis. I don't believe many people would've watched it at the cinema. However, I think some people will watch it at home. It's much easier to consume something embarrassing in private. The report, however, shows everything through the lens of 'censorship'. Whoever wrote this report forgot that people might not actually want to watch such movies at the cinema, and hence there is not much demand for the film. It's become fashionable to show Pakistan as a fundamentally repressive society.

You used good examples to illustrate your point, but there is flaws in your argument. by the way moon lander (and rover) has taken pictures and rocks for scientific research (which been accessed by many international researchers till date). While in OBL's drama, no pics or DNA available to support or assess that event. Aurangzaib is still liked or hated by people, there is no question on his existence from either side; whereas in OBL case his presence in that compound is claimed by american but it denied by Pakistanis. You have to extract parallels from your examples to prove the common sense in this case, where basic things -like pics and DNA- been kept suspiciously secret. This unnecessary suspicious behaviour arouse my common sense to question the event. .

Couldn't agree with you more. I don't know what it is with South Asians that draw inspiration from ostriches and hide their heads in the sands of reality when it comes to civilisational, social, geographical, historical, ethical and many other truths. They seem to figure that if certain truths are denied, loud enough, long enough and in numbers, then these truths would somehow go away. I am personally extremely pessimistic about the prognosis for that part of the world where people would kill under various frivolous pretexts, rather than endorse humanity and fraternity.

I don't suppose the eye witness testimony of OBL's wives/children who watched him die are considered "proof"? One thing that conspiracy theorist have in common - they go to extraordinary lengths to ignore mountains of evidence.

He means that in Pakistan, generally English speaking people have got their enough education that they can speak their own language and also English. General population speaks their native language but some educated ones can speak more than one. And some really educated can speak common language of love and respect. In US, people who speak English are just educated in one language but those who can speak more than one are respected more, they are more wise as they have ability to understand more than one culture. This is what he means, but as you guys are radiclalized against west, your first thought and hence reaction was like they way you replied.
