PTI condemns violence in Karachi

KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf, Imran Khan in a statement on Friday strongly condemned the new spate of target killings in Karachi which has resulted in the deaths of eighteen people, including three clerics.

Imran Khan said that sectarian violence has damaged the peace of Karachi. He said that law enforcement agencies have completely failed in maintaining law and order in the city.

The PTI chairman has appealed to residents of the metropolis to remain calm and help in restoring peace in Karachi.

He said that any violent response will only add to the problems of the city. He demanded the law enforcement agencies control the situation and restore peace, so that the country could make economic progress.
