Complaint to KESC

Published February 1, 2013

A NEUTRAL wire had broken down in Sector C, near Ibrahim Mosque in Bhittai Colony, Korangi Crossing, on Jan 12. As a result, residents of the area have been facing consistent power fluctuation that has damaged household electric appliances.

I lodged a complaint (469624) with KESC helpline 118 the following day, and have been reminding them daily. On Jan 16, I was informed that the complaint was disposed of without fixing the fault and another complaint number (472921) was given.

The affected residents also approached the KESC’s regional office, located in Darul Islam Society, but in vain.
