THE Indian nation witnessed a dramatic ouster of BJP President Nitin Gadkari recently. The Bharatiya Janata Party dumped Mr Gadkari from the party’s race for chief because of income-tax raids on companies connected to the Purti group.

Mr Gadkari, who was all set to become the chief of India’s second biggest party and main opposition, issued a statement in the media that he was out of the race.

Although Mr Gadkari claims himself to be innocent, the chaos in political lines raises fingers over the credibility of the BJP just like Congress in which many top leaders are under the scanner for alleged involvement in scams.

The Gadkari episode and his alleged involvement in scams is a big question mark over the top political parties, their leaders and their modus operandi.

Do they really care about the common people of the country or they consider them their vote bank without caring about their issues and sentiments?
