Sentenced to death

SIALKOT, Feb 2: District and Sessions Judge Ameer Muhammad Khan has awarded death sentence on four counts to a murder convict.

Tahir Mehboob of Rangpura had killed four members of his family -- his second wife Nadia, sister-in-law Fatima and two young sons Ali Haider and Mohsin -- in 2010.

In Daska, Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Ramzan awarded death sentence to Zaigham Abbas for killing a youth, Ali Afzal, for demanding Rs400,000 back.—Correspondent
