LAHORE, Feb 6: An Iranian cultural exhibition opened at the Alhamra Art Gallery, The Mall, on Wednesday.

The exhibition and film show was organised by the Iranian Cultural Centre in connection with the 34th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

A large number of art lovers attended the exhibition that was inaugurated by Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah.

The exhibition included Iranian paintings, photographs and handicrafts.

Two artists, Muhammad Saeed Naqashian and Ustad Kamiar Sadqi, have especially flown in from Tehran to participate and exhibit their works at the exhibition.

The photographs displayed depicted Iran’s Islamic Revolution period. An Iranian film ‘A Sugar Cube’ was also screened on the occasion.

The exhibition will run for a week.
