KARACHI: Four ships carrying containers and chemicals were berthed during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, three more load containers, cement and unload iron ore also arrived at the outer anchorage.
Eight ships namely Hanjin Los Angeles, CGM Debussy, Nedlloyed Drake, Dynamic Ocean, HR Margarita, Thelisis, Harsanadi and Chem Road Journey were busy in loading and unloading containers, rice, cement, chemical and edible oil.
A cargo volume of 88,577 tons comprising 47,172 tons of import and 41,405 tons of export was handled.
