KARACHI, Feb 6: A judicial magistrate remanded on Wednesday a female suspect in judicial custody for allegedly kidnapping a newborn baby.

Police produced Urooj before Judicial Magistrate (central) Asghar Ali Tanwiri and sought her physical remand till Feb 20.

However, the magistrate sent the suspect to jail on judicial remand till Feb 8 and directed the investigation officer to submit a charge-sheet on the next date.—Staff Reporter
