LAHORE, Feb 8: The Alif Laila Book Bus Library on Friday organised a story telling event participated in by US Consul General Nina Maria Fite and students from the Government Model Girls School, Barkat Market, Garden Town.
Ms Fite also read excerpts from one of her favourite books, the American children’s classic ‘Little House on the Prairie’. She also sang an Urdu poem “Aman” (peace) along with a student Fiza Fatima and earned applause from students.
Alif Laila Book Bus Society vice-president Rabia Khan briefed Ms Fite about the project.
