Select models Nadia Hussain, Fouzia, Saima Azhar as well as Sana Mehak, Abeer and Maham sashayed around in designer wear — Nadia and Abeer wore Adnan Pardesy, Fauzia and Maham shone in Sana Safinaz, Sana Mehak sported a trendy jump suit by Sania Maskatiya and Saima Azhar regaled in Maheen Karim. The jewellery was by Shehrzad and Kiran Aman.

Peng, originally from Malaysia, came to Pakistan to open her salon in 1980. “The beauty industry is a combination of craftsmanship, the use of your hands, brain, art, imagination and heart,” she said at the opening while summing up her work which has culminated in four salons in the past three decades. The event was arranged by Catalyst.
