KOHAT, Feb 10: Four members of a family were buried alive when roof of their house collapsed in Toalang Qadeem area here in the wee hours of Sunday.

The police said that the roof of the house owned by Lal Zari Shah had become weak after the recent rains. The family of Zari Shah was sleeping inside the house when the roof collapsed.

The deceased included Lal Zari Shah, his nephew Safiullah, minor Zainab Bibi and Saqibullah. Their bodies were pulled out of the rubble by the local volunteers.

The police registered a report after handing over the bodies to the relatives.
